Get to Know Dr. Ashraf Seif
Ashraf Seif, DDS is a general dentist who brings over 20 years of experience to Baytown Gentle Dental. He came to the Baytown area in 2014, and as a dentist, he likes being able to get people out of pain, increase someone’s confidence, and show them that there is nothing to fear when it comes to their care. To ensure consistently positive treatment outcomes as well as pleasant patient experiences, he is dedicated to lifelong learning and regularly participates in postgraduate courses that enable him to provide the highest quality of oral healthcare. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Seif broke his front teeth during an accident he had as a child. Fortunately, his dentist at the time was able to fix his smile while helping him get over his fears of treatment. His dentist became his hero, and eventually, Dr. Seif fell in love with dentistry and decided to follow in his footsteps.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Seif grew up in Syria, and he obtained his first dental degree there in 1998 from Lattakia University Dental School. He practiced general dentistry there before moving to the United States, and upon relocating, he eventually graduated from the Loma Linda School of Dentistry.
As a student, Dr. Seif earned an award in aesthetic dentistry as well as an advanced standing in clinical training achievement certificate. He also served as a part-time clinical instructor.
Over the years, Dr. Seif has completed continuing education focused on sleep apnea dentistry and oral sedation, and he has also attended the prestigious Pikos Institute for dental implant training. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he’s not at work, Dr. Seif enjoys cooking, immersing himself in southern culture, and spending time with his friends and family. He loves Texas and is thrilled to serve the Baytown community.
